  1. IO::String is an IO::File (and IO::Handle) compatible class that read
  2. or write data from in-core strings.  It is really just a
  3. simplification of what I needed from Eryq's IO-stringy modules.  As
  4. such IO::String is a replacement for IO::Scalar.

  6. Installation as usual:

  8.    perl Makefile.PL
  9.    make
  10.    make test
  11.    make install
  12.  
  13. Documentation is embedded in the module.
